Titled, "Leave No Tracks;" I showcase my love for nature and earth tones in this sculpture x fashion project. I used my old (and beloved) Nike Huarache Utility Gripps that were falling apart after having worn them almost everyday for over four years.
This project actually helped me during a very tough season of my life. After graduating college and moving back home, I was overwhelmed with fear of the future, and I was not prioritizing my mental health. So I decided to strategically glue fake moss onto shoes. ;)
By creating with my hands, using creative strategy, and incorporating photography, this project kept my mind busy and reminded me of my creative goals and dreams. I'm grateful for not having rejected this idea (although I do not know what to do with the shoes now).
